7. Sansa Is Threatened

So, what could convince Jon to turn on Dany finally? A threat to his pack, obviously.

We've seen repeated allusions to the idea of the Starks as a wolfpack and the suggestion that a threat to any one of them is a threat to them all. They've already lost enough of their family to know of that strength in unity and it's very much been Sansa's negotiating point ever since Dany came across to Westeros. Arya backed her up too. Bran couldn't give a sh*t, but he's not really a real Stark any more as it is.

Anyway, Sansa is definitely going to be in Dany's crosshairs next. The Mad Queen has already said as much, in fact, when she blamed the betrayal of Jon, Tyrion and Varys squarely on Sansa. And if she was willing to let Varys burn for his part in it, she's hardly going to be reasonable about Sansa, whose dissidence and strength in the North poses Dany with a major problem.

If Dany thinks that Sansa will rally the Northmen (including the sizeable forces of The Vale, remember) and Dorne (and even the Iron Born), she won't hesitate to threaten Sansa. And you have to think that any real threat would force Jon's hand to do something about it...
