ii. The Retired Characters (?)

This next lot of characters APPEAR to have had their stories tied up and are likely retired from the show. That doesn't necessarily mean that they won't appear at all, of course, but they're less likely than the active key players. Since there's a slightly increased chance on the last bunch of saps, let's add a Dead Or Alive factor...

19. Gendry Baratheon

Last Seen: Being given Storm's End by Dany in episode 4 of the final season and then proposing to Arya only to be rejected. He's probably now sitting on his new perch in his family's home wondering what could have been.

Chances Of A Sighting: There is a slight chance that Arya will change her mind about being with him, after what she saw in the King's Landing Massacre, but if they were to marry, it wouldn't be for her to sit on his hand as a Lady.

They could still marry on equal terms though, and set about making badass blacksmith babies together. Ship it again.

18. Tormund Giantsbane & Ghost

Last Seen: Saying farewell to Jon at Winterfell, Tormund vowed to take the rest of the Free Folk North again so they could roam and be free. He's taken Ghost with him, because that good boy deserves a lot better than neglect in the South.

Chances Of A Sighting: There is a chance, if a slim one, because if Jon removes Dany from the Iron Throne, he probably won't take it himself. He doesn't want it and it wouldn't suit him. Far more satisfying would be him heading North again. And if he goes North, he could see Ghost again.

Imagine how lovely seeing Jon frollicking in the snow with Tormund and Ghost would be!
