Game Of Thrones Season 8 Finale: Every Survivor's Ending Ranked Worst To Best

15. Yara Greyjoy

Yara Greyjoy Game of Thrones

Last we saw of Yara Greyjoy, Queen of the Ironborn, she was heading back to the Iron Isles to take them back in Dany's name while Theon was heading North to help the Starks out. Her story could have ended there, in all honesty, but the council at the Dragon Pit meant she had to appear in her role as one of the heads of the Seven Kingdoms.

Still, it was slightly surprising to see her there, even if her voice of dissent against Tyrion and Jon was a good thing to add to the conversation, given that she had pledged to Dany's cause. Honour among the Ironborn is a little strange, but it's a sign of the strength of Yara's qualities to be a leader.

She now gets to sit on the Iron throne (no not that one) and lead one of Bran's most powerful allies, which is pretty much what she's wanted for years now. So she's likely to be happy.
