Game Of Thrones Season 8 Finale: Every Survivor's Ending Ranked Worst To Best
14. Gendry Baratheon
Having had his heart broken by Arya when he offered her a proposal, Gendry turned up in the finale again as Lord Baratheon with his name intact and more regal clothes than we've ever seen him in.
He's presumably now in full Storm's End mode, overseeing his people with absolutely no concept of how to do that and looking out for a wife to replace Arya. There had been some hope among fans that their tryst could have led to Genry and Arya getting together long-term, especially after the penultimate episode saw The Hound turning Arya away from a bloodier path, but again, as she has said already, that's just not her.
Still, it's good to see Robert Baratheon's last bastard living on and restoring that line after Joffrey did so much bad PR for the House.
