Game Of Thrones Season 8: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best

27. Gendry

Game of Thrones Gendry
HBO

When Gendry returned in Season 7 after a four-year absence, there was an expectation on him to do, well, something. Instead he simply got to run really far, really fast, and that was it.

In Season 8 he is a little better served: he rekindles his friendship with Arya, which leads to romance and then heartbreak, but he gets compensation in the form of being named Lord of Storm's End (with some lovely new threads to boot). It's not a huge amount, and the Arya stuff is another victim of the rushed pacing, but Gendry remains likeable throughout and it's a nice ending for him.
