Game Of Thrones Season 8: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best

25. Gregor Clegane

The Mountain
HBO

From Frankenstein to his monster, the Mountain never really been much of a character as such. Since coming back from the dead, he's served exclusively as Cersei's bodyguard, mostly just there to stand and look threatening, and occasionally smash someone into a wall.

Season 8, then, at least gives him a proper scene in the form of Cleganebowl, where we get to see a hint of the Gregor Clegane that still exists underneath the zombified form.

Given the hype, it would've been easy for the showdown to fail to live up to expectations, but the battle of the brothers delivered in terms of intense action and dramatic stakes, giving Gregor his best moment since fighting the Viper.
