Game Of Thrones: What If... Daenerys Invaded Westeros In Season 1

1. White Walkers Would Win

The biggest what if could still actually come true. If the dragons aren't used in the inevitable war against the white walkers, the ice demons would win without any hassle whatsoever. If the dragons were never even hatched, then there would be quite simply no hope for Westeros to survive the complete onslaught. Valyrian steel and dragonglass are the only two known tools effective for killing the walkers, and while there's a fair amount of both, there simply aren't enough of either to be hold back the swarms of white walkers and their wights. It looks like only dragon fire could eliminate their threat efficiently, so without the dragons, Westeros is doomed. Thankfully though, Daenerys has hung around in Essos, despite being sidetracked by the re-emergence of the Dothraki. She has built a reputation, gradually built credible forces and is slowly positioning herself to become a leader in the near future. Mercifully she didn't cross the Narrow Sea earlier on, sparing the lives of everyone on the continent.
