7. Season One Would Have Been Very Different

If the story was told from a young and naive Joffrey's point of view, you can imagine that he would be confused and perhaps even saddened by his father's adviser's (Jon Arryn) untimely death at the start of the series. What would make it even worse is the fact that a new family (The Starks) move in to take the place of the Arryns, who he knows nothing about, only to be told that he would have to wed their eldest daughter, Sansa. Despite her being a beautiful little dove, it's not something any boy wants to be forced into. Then, to make matters even more awkward, his soon-to-be father-in-law, Ned Stark, accuses him of being a child of incest right after his father, the king, dies. Like puberty isn't hard enough without all the extra drama of being a boy king. So his mother orders him to have the man's head chopped off (or they just get cast out of King's Landing), but there's a problem - he has fallen in love with the eldest Stark daughter. His mother refuses to let him marry the daughter of a traitor now and gets him another eligible bachelorette...
