Game Of Thrones: What If Joffrey Was The Hero? 7 Ways It Would Have Changed

6. The Tyrells Would Have Been The Villains

... in the form of the beautiful Margaery Tyrell. Now, we've all grown to love the sweet, beautiful girl from Highgarden, but if Joffrey were a good king instead of a sadistic little prat, we probably wouldn't have liked her as much because of the way she so easily manipulates him into doing just what she wants him to do. With Joffrey as the hero, Margaery is painted as the ultimate villain, doing anything she can to become the queen of the 7 kingdoms. It even looks like she was the one behind Joffrey's death! Then again, I personally blame that smile of hers, which makes it look like she knows exactly when the world is going to end. But now, if the Tyrells were the villains - would they still be in the same situation that we last saw them in? Would Loras still have been jailed for homosexuality? Would Margaery still be drinking her water off of the dungeon floor? Of course not. If Joffrey were a good guy, he would have listened to his lady (even if she was lying to him), and taken her side - and he probably wouldn't have let the Faith Of The Seven run things the way Tommen seems to be doing while he does... what exactly? Is he playing the Westeros version of PlayStation 4? He's completely useless.
