Game Of Thrones: What If... Tyrion Lannister Wasn't A Dwarf?

1. A + J = T Killed By T

Are you ready for the ultimate wildcard theory, based on another theory? Here goes. A + J = T. This is a long-discussed idea that remains a possibility, albeit a very slim one. It suggests that Aerys Taragaryen (The Mad King) seduced or raped Joanna Lannister (Tywin's wife), meaning that when Tywin says Tyrion is 'no son of mine' it could actually be taken literally. Some Internet theories have taken things a step further: in the books, it states that Tyrion's hair is far paler than the typical Lannister golden curls, and the Targaryens are known for their silvery locks. It has been suggested that Tyrion's dwarfism was a good excuse to dismiss his hair colour, though had he grown into a tall, silvery-haired potential Targaryen, Tywin would've simply killed him at the very beginning. After all, another Targaryen - one who also contains Lannister blood - would be catastrophic for Tywin. Tyrion would be one of the greatest leaders in all of Westeros, if not the absolute finest, but unfortunately his reputation has spiralled out of control as a monster when in reality, he's just not as tall as other men. If Tyrion had been a tall Lannister man, he could easily have changed and become a force for 'evil'. Although he's lead a tragically hard life for the son of a noble Lord, he's been shaped by it for the better. Long live Tyrion Lannister.
