5. Married For Power

Tyrion was a rogue for most of his life, allowed to roam free and find women wherever they were. Tywin obviously didn't approve, but there wasn't so much pressure on his rejected child: he was a lost cause in Tywin's eyes, and despite some efforts to keep him in check, Tyrion's love life wishes were never respected. However, had Tyrion gone on to become Tywin 2.0, he would've been married into a powerful family. He would've been the lordly figure while Jaime was out in the battlefield. Which family would he have been tied to though? If he hadn't already been betrothed by the time the TV series started, he could've been usefully tied in with the Tyrells or the Starks. A marriage to Sansa may stay have gone ahead, though under far less farcical circumstances.
