Wyman Manderly is the head of House Manderly, vassals of House Stark. One of the fattest men of Westeros; he is so large that he cant even ride a horse, leading to his nickname of Lord Too-Fat-to-Sit-a-Horse. Given his immense girth, it is fitting that he is lord of White Harbor, the Norths largest and most affluent trade city. Wyman comes off as your typical fat, loud, and jolly man. This gives people the idea that he is weak and incompetent, which is a good front to throw potential enemies off. In reality, he is actually quite loyal, cunning, and intelligent. In fact, he is one of the Starks most loyal followers. You can imagine his horror and grief when he heard what happened at the Red Wedding, especially considering his son was a casualty. With the Boltons taking over their position as Warden of the North, he begrudgingly accepts his new lords. He will not, however, forget what happened to the real Wardens of the North.
