8. Joffrey's Death

This one has been a long time coming. This might be the single most hated character on television right now. I seriously don't know any well adjusted people who actually like this guy. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that the actor playing Joffrey doesn't enjoy the easiest time out and about in public. Let's face it: People are committed. Allow me to put your angry minds at ease €“ the b*stard will die this season. Oh how glorious this death will be! I know that sounds pretty messed up but the death of Joffrey sets off a series of awesome events that those in the know are dying to see on screen. Let's break it down €“ Joffrey marries Margaery and at his wedding he acts like the unconscionable prick he is, forcing Tyrion to joust with another dwarf while riding a pig. It's absolutely humiliating and before the night is over, Joffrey chokes to death on a poisoned pie. Tyrion and Sansa are blamed for the murder and while Tyrion is arrested, Sansa flees with the aid of Littlefinger. This leaves Tyrion to face the brunt of Cersei and Tywin's wrath on his own.
