7. The Red Viper vs. The Mountain
I personally cannot wait to see this happen on screen. Hopefully, we'll see it this coming season but I could see them pushing this possibly until season five. First, I'll give you a little backstory on Prince Oberyn Martell, aka The Red Viper. He's secretly worked to aid Viserys in his bid to reclaim the Iron Throne and destroy House Baratheon and House Lannister. He's now decided to come to King's Landing and sit on the council with the promise of gaining revenge on the man who murdered his beloved sister, Elia. Once there, he realizes that Tywin Lannister has no intention of holding up his end of the bargain and thus visits the captive Tyrion, who gives him the truth It was Ser Gregor Clegane, aka The Mountain, who murdered Elia. Prince Oberyn offers to fight for Tyrion in his trial by combat because he knows he'll be squaring off against Clegane. The battle begins and while supremely outmatched in size and strength, Oberyn is the better fighter and after a lengthy battle, he cripples Clegane. Rather than going in for a quick kill, Oberyn's rage gets the best of him as he presses and continues to torture Clegane into the confession he's been searching for. Clegane uses the last of his strength to smash Oberyn's face until dead. The vengeful prince has the last laugh, however, as he's poisoned his spear and Clegane will (presumably) die a drawn out and agonizing death. This leads us directly to the next entry...

I'm married and live in New York with my wife and pets. I'm a writer and definitely not a comedian (just ask my wife). I've successfully linked my twitter, goodreads, facebook and google+ pages although the successful aspect of all that is up for debate. I also started my own blog on wordpress and have just finished my first novel, The Violent Winds. Now it's time to try and trick some unsuspecting fool into buying it.
