Game Of Thrones: 10 Characters We Didn't Want To Like

Ranging from irritating to despicable...

Game of Thrones is a complex program, following the political intrigue and military stratagem of a medieval society as it tears itself apart. At any given point, there are at least two people who declare themselves the rightful ruler of the kingdom. There are those who die with honor and those who live to seek revenge. There are those who do what is right and those who do what is practical. Some would watch the world burn rather than surrender. Bastards range from royal to baseborn, and traitors are only those who choose the losing side. Oh, and ice zombies. There are also ice zombies. Still, as any viewer knows, Game of Thrones boasts a plethora of plot lines. The show also features enough characters to spawn a few spinoffs and still make it through a season just fine. While such a huge cast naturally has some of us seriously considering making a chart, certain characters inevitably emerge as particularly noble or as particularly...well, likely to make it to the end of the series. There are generally more bad guys than good, and some of those bad guys are more interesting than others. Now, there's no denying that any show is incomplete without the occasional castration and/or child-murdering, but the best bad guys are the ones who have enough nuance to their characters that they make us want to watch them despite ourselves. So, here are ten characters--ranging from irritating to despicable--from Game of Thrones who we really can't help but like.
