Game Of Thrones: 10 Things That Could Kill A Giant

2. White Walkers

The king of the nasty beasties prowling beyond The Wall, White Walkers, with their tall lean bodies, mummified skin and glowing blue eyes are just as fearsome as they look. There is a reason why those living in the northern reaches of Westeros fear the coming of the White Walkers so much more than any stupid Giant €“ not only are they formidable in their own right but their ability to summon Wights means they should truly be dreaded. There can be no doubting that a White Walker would easily obliterate a Giant if the brute hadn€™t already run away. Despite the size advantage the Giant has, the harbingers of the undead are likely to be equally as strong; we see one sling the generously proportioned Samwell Tarly quite some distance with a relaxed back-hand punch so we can assume they€™re far stronger than any human. Based on the limited footage we€™ve seen of the White Walkers, they seem to be far more strategic than Giants so in a battle the blue-eyed monster would have the tactical edge. Unless the Giant had somehow managed to arm itself with a Dragonglass blade, we don€™t even know if the hulking creature would be able to harm a White Walker. White Walkers also have the ability to freeze whatever they touch so this could come into play if the two creatures were to engage in close combat. There is a reason White Walkers are so feared in the north €“ don€™t expect a Giant to present much of a challenge to these grey-skinned menaces.
