Though in recent times we have just seen Daenerys offspring chomping on succulent goat rather than laying waste to cities, no fan of Game of Thrones is unaware of how ridiculously powerful these three Dragons are. This is why Daenerys is currently Westeros bookmakers favourite to win the Iron Throne not only does she have the three Dragons but also an army of Unsullied and the Second Sons mercenary company. It must be remembered that Daenerys brood are still but hatchlings; indeed, the flying lizards keep growing as long as they live, with the largest (Balerion the Black Dread) reaching a truly enormous size. Even in their young age any one of the Targaryen Dragons across the narrow sea would overwhelm a giant. The one which would have the least trouble would certainly be Drogon fittingly named after Khal Drogo for his size and aggression. Their speed, ability to fly and fire-breathing capabilities would allow the Dragons to evade the reach of the Giant while pouring scorching fire down upon them. In the unlikely event that the Giant was immune to extreme heat, the juvenile reptiles could use their fearsome claws and teeth to launch Blitzkrieg-style assaults on the humanoid creature before darting out to avoid the Giants clumsy hands. They may be at opposite ends of the continent, but the hypothetical battle between a Giant and a Dragon would end with the northern creature crumpled in a char-grilled heap, perhaps with the Dragon chomping on its flesh if there arent any plump goats in the vicinity.
