Game Of Thrones: 10 Things We Learned From "Oathkeeper"

2. Bran Is Captured By The Mutineers

Not too far away, Bran, Hodor, Meera and Jojen hear the baby crying. Even though Meera tells him they need to stay together, Bran wargs into Summer to check what€™s going on. The wolf eventually finds a wolf in a cage, but promptly falls into a trap. Waking up in his own body, Bran recognises the wolf as Ghost. The four of them find their way to Craster€™s Keep and discover that the men there are clearly no longer affiliated with the Night€™s Watch. They make a plan to free Summer and Ghost, but are soon captured. While Hodor is tormented outside, Bran, Meera and Jojen are brought inside to be interrogated. Karl recognizes them as highborn, and when Jojen has one of his seizures, he threatens to kill them unless they reveal who they are. Trapped, Bran admits that he€™s Bran Stark of Winterfell. In the books, Brand and the others have no interaction with the mutineers, and this is a significant deviation that could lead anywhere. Karl knows this his hostages are valuable, but he can€™t do much with them since they€™re out in the middle of nowhere. Karl will probably hold Bran ransom to get something out of Jon. With Jon leading a small group towards Craster€™s Keep, Karl will have to face Jon sooner than he thought, and with his brother in danger, nothing will stop Jon from dishing the pain on these mutineers.
