Game Of Thrones: 10 Things That Ruined The Series

6. Daario€™s Recasting

HBOHBOWhile we aren't huge fans of his effect on Daenerys' storyline, Daario is one of the more intriguing characters in the Game of Thrones series. From his mysterious origins to the possibility that he's a certain other major character in disguise, Daario is a bit of an enigma. In season three, Daario was played by Ed Skrien, who did a good job of portraying the Tyroshi sellsword. Unfortunately for Game of Thrones fans, Skrien was unable to return to the series, after accepting the lead role in a Transporter reboot for some reason. Michiel Huisman has now taken over the role and, while he's doing an admirable job, the guy just isn't as memorable as Skrien was. As well as causing a bit of confusion for viewers that aren't keeping up with what's happening behind the scenes, we're presented with a much plainer looking Daario. It's totally out of the creator's hands, but Daario now serves as a constant visual reminder that we're just watching actors playing a part.
