Game Of Thrones: 15 Upcoming Problems That Could Potentially Derail It

14. The Death of Tywin Lannister = No More Charles Dance

Aside from having some presence in A Storm Of Swords, the tyrannical head of the Lannister Family did not have quite the same impact as he did in the books, but then Charles Dance turned up screen, skinning a deer and became one of the best things in the show. It was Tywin's conversations with his 'squire' Arya in season two that truly cemented his crown and that has only increased tenfold since he has taken on the mantle of Hand Of The King once more in Kings Landing during season three. His ruthlessness towards Tywin and Cersei, his 'conversation' with Olenna Tyrell and the brilliance in which he cut down Joffrey made every scene with him a stand out moment. Sadly all good things must come to an end and of all the deaths to come, it is Tywin's that will be the most difficult to take. Not because Twyin doesn't deserve it - he's a ruthless devil after all - but because very soon we're going to say goodbye to Charles Dance on the show and the writers will have a difficult job elevating another character to the same standard as him.
