Game Of Thrones: 15 Upcoming Problems That Could Potentially Derail It
9. I'm Looking For My 'Sister' (A Maid Of Three And Ten) With Auburn Hair...
The final character with some issues is Brienne Of Tarth. After her brilliant interplay with Jamie Lannister in A Storm Of Swords (and seasons two and three), we were all eager to see where she would go next after she received the respect and thanks of the now-commander of the Kingsguard, and went off in search of Sansa Stark. While Sansa's storyline finally started to get interesting, Brienne's did not: she spends the entirety of A Feast For Crows looking for a maid of three and ten with auburn hair. Needless to see, it gets tiring fast, only she keeps going and going and going until eventually she encounters the vengeful Lady Stoneheart and then seemingly leads Jamie into a trap. After that... well it still remains to be seen. Unless something is radically changed, Brienne is going to suffer a similar fate to Daenarys in season two. A whole lot of wandering and not a lot of plot. Expectations will be high for her after season three and even season four will struggle to find something to do with her now that she and Jamie have already reached King's Landing. Two seasons of wandering the countryside just isn't going to cut it.
