When we see Daenerys for the first time this season, she is just hanging out with her dragons on the way to Meereen. The way the shot is set up is actually quite brilliant two of her dragons are up in the sky; distant enough to make you think they are as small as we last saw them. Then we see a big wing flap by Danys head, and instantly it dawns how big they actually are. We finally see Drogon, her red dragon, lying in her lap, and he is enormous. Those dragons are growing fast! It is no surprise why this is one of the best scenes of the premiere. Any scene with dragons in it speaks for itself, and boy are the dragons becoming more impressive every year. The special effects work is amazing for a television show; its almost the quality you expect from a big budget Hollywood blockbuster. They are so well-realised and designed, and it's quite satisfying seeing them grow over the seasons. Makes you even more excited to see them when they are fully grown.
