Game Of Thrones: 5 Winners And 5 Losers In 'The Mountain And The Viper'

The Winners:

5. Sorry, Not Sorry (Grey Worm & Missandei)

There€™s a budding romance developing between two of the secondary characters in Daenerys€™ storyline, and considering the lives they€™ve led as slaves up until this point, a little human connection is certainly no more than they deserve. Daenerys was gifted Missandei as part of her deal with the masters of Astapor for the Unsullied. Daenerys saw her value as a translator, and also for her knowledge of the cities in Slaver€™s Bay. Grey Worm is one of the Unsullied, and they chose him as their captain with Daenerys blessing after she had declared them free men. In his new role on the queen€™s council, Grey Worm needs to learn the common tongue, and Missandei was perfectly equipped to teach him. Through their lessons, they€™ve begun to develop an emotional connection. It was hinted at before, but only properly addressed in this latest episode. When everyone is bathing naked in the river (as you do), Grey Worm sees Missandei nude, and perhaps for the first time in his life, becomes aware of the allure of a woman€™s form. Later, when Missandei recalls the encounter to Daenerys, her queen reassures that the Unsullied do not see women in this way, however Missandei is certain that he did. They also wonder how much of his parts were removed by the masters when he was a boy. Grey Worm approaches Missandei in the throne room to apologise for his lingering stare, but it is obvious that they both want this relationship to develop further. With not much else going on in Meereen at the moment, it€™s likely that we€™ll get to see just that.
