The words for House Arryn are witty, attention-grabbing, and they suit the house well. These words refer to the geography of the familys homeland. The Arryns castle, the Eyrie, is a seemingly impregnable stronghold situated atop a peak in the Vale of Arryn's Mountains of the Moon. Unfortunately, we dont really get to see just how high Arryn honor flies; the revered hand of the king Jon Arryn is murdered at the beginning of the series and his death is really the impetus for this whole fiasco in Westeros. Catelyn Starks sister, Lysa Arryn, has gone a little nutty up there in the mountains and her sickly son Robin is mostly just annoying. The Arryns are very isolated from the rest of the Seven Kingdoms and havent played much of a part in the power struggle. While their words are clever and suitable to the family, House Arryn is a lineage that has certainly seen better and more honorable days.
