Fire and Blood is menacing, imaginative, and, unfortunately for everyone in the path of the Targaryens, a harsh reality. Born of Aegon The Conqueror subjecting the noble families of Westeros to his rule through gigantic dragons, it's a moniker which references his bloodline's mystical, Valyrian past and their penchant for violence and pyromancy. And though the dragons were thought to have been extinct for hundreds of years in Westeros, the people of the Seven Kingdoms are about to get a rude awakening courtesy of Daenerys Targaryen and her three dragons: Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion. These words could not be more fitting to the qualities of this specific house, and the ruthless imagery is foreboding and highly intimidating. They are straightforward, effective, and they do exactly what you want your house words to do. Dany is trying her hardest to restore a house that has fallen from power to its former glory and reclaim the Iron Throne, and her dragons certainly add a significant advantage. Fire and Blood is an awesome example of house words done right.
