6. Brienne Of Tarth
The dynamic between Brienne and Jamie was an essential element throughout the third season and I really hope they keep building on the symbiotic relationship they seemed to have developed with this odd couple. In Brienne, Jamie was able to see the type of knight he always idealized but was never able to become. One can make the argument that it was through this relationship that Jamie become a more sympathetic character in the eyes of the viewer. After all, pre-Brienne he was smarmy, arrogant and pushing kids out of windows. Post-Brienne, he's jumping into bear pits to save people. Now that they have arrived at King's Landing, it will be great to see if the bond they have developed continues to strengthen or if those ties will slowly break. I'm looking forward to seeing if Brienne will clash with individuals like Cersei and the Tyrells and what her approach will be in regards to the two Stark girls, once she finds out about Catelyn's fate.
