Game Of Thrones Season 4: 10 Things Fans Who Haven't Read The Books Want To See

1. Revenge For The Red Wedding

Even those who haven't been watching Game of Thrones have likely heard about the Red Wedding in season three's penultimate episode, "The Rains of Castamere." A quick refresher: Robb Stark promised to marry one of Walder Frey's daughters in return for the use of his bridge in the war against the Lannisters. Instead, he met and fell in love with a nurse named Talisa. As a make-good, Catelyn Stark's brother, Edmure, is offered up in Robb's stead. Walder accepts, but the wedding turns out to be a giant ambush €“ Frey, in concert with the Lannisters, kills Robb, the now-pregnant Talisa, and Catelyn in a shocking turn of events. In one fell swoop, all hopes of a reunion for the Stark family €“ and a truly happy ending €“ were dashed. Walder Frey, even temporarily, had usurped Joffrey's role as television's greatest monster. What can be done, though? After Robb Stark's death, his army surrendered to the Lannisters €“ their might is no more. Still, if Game of Thrones has taught us anything, it's that the Starks are determined. The strength and goodness of Arya, Jon Snow, Bran, and even Sansa and Rickon has steered them through the most difficult of ordeals. Their true power is inside... and hopefully, they use that true power to completely f**king annihilate Walder Frey, Roose Bolton, and everyone else who played a part in the Red Wedding.
