King of Lectures, Tywin Lannister, continues to be the real power behind the Iron Throne (who's taking things extremely literally in the picture above, showing the next scene), and he will go on governing the kingdoms and his family as he sees fit. Personally, he's one my favourite characters on the show (after Tyrion and Arya, obviously), and much of that is down to the performances of the stellar Charles Dance. Once again, Tywin's focus is on enhancing and preserving the Lannister name €“ his legacy. In the scene from the trailer, Cersei asks, "Who can we trust?" to which Tywin bluntly replies, "Ourselves, alone." What a boss. Having all but successfully dealt with the threat of the Northmen, new political challenges will arise this season for Tywin, this time from the south, in the form of Dornish ambassador Oberyn Martell (who's sitting next to him in the picture), whom, as I have mentioned, has his own agenda in the capital. As events develop however, Tywin might soon find that the biggest threat to his family's security may well come from within...
