Game Of Thrones Season 4: 8 Appetising Moments From The Secrets Trailer

1. 01:20 €“ Bigger Dragons, Of Course!

I mean, if there's one iconic image that fans most associate with the show, I think it's safe to say that it's probably the dragons. Geeky gripe time €“ the creatures we see on Game of Thrones are technically wyverns, because they only have two legs. A 'true' dragon has four legs, with the front pair being distinguished from the wings. When the front legs form part of the frame of the wings, becoming essentially more like arms, it is a wyvern. I'm willing to let this one slide though. I suppose a wyvern is a type of dragon... So the, um, dragons are finally getting bigger now, which hopefully means they will be doing more burning and killing. We saw a little bit of action last season, but their developing growth must surely demand more. According to the Season 3 blu-ray, the dragon's age can be scaled in human terms: the dragons of Season 2 were like babies/toddlers; the dragons of Season 3 were akin to young teens; meaning that the dragons of Season 4 will most likely be approaching adulthood, perhaps in the range of 18-21 €“ the prime human age for going out and causing havoc on the town. In this screen grab, you can see Drogon terrorising what appears to be a small boy, and... well, I've said too much. Needless to say, it's important plot-wise. Game of Thrones Season 4 premieres on April 6th on HBO in the US, and April 7th on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
