7. Daenerys and Meereen (00:12-00:21)

Daenerys and her army make their way towards Meereen, the greatest of all the slaver cities of Essos, with an angry Daenerys telling Jorah Mormont: "Let the priests argue over good and evil; They can live in my new world, or die in their old one." The attack on Meereen begins with explosive barrels being launched at the city. It's great to see Daenerys come so much out of her shell. She's come so far from the timid, cowed girl in Season One who was sold into marriage by her mad brother and had to suffer the death of her husband and unborn son, not to mention her hopes and dreams of conquering Westeros with the Dothraki army. The girl whose child was magically stillborn found herself mother to three rapidly growing dragons and countless thousands of liberated slaves, head of an army of deathly devoted soldiers freeing entire nations from the slavers' yoke. Here we see her ready to do whatever it takes to save the poor downtrodden folk of Meereen, the last bastion of slavery in her path, and you can't help but believe in her and want her to kick ass. Though her words about the priests suggest that she may have learned a lesson in trust and mercy from Mirri Maz Duur in Season One...
