Games Of Thrones Season 7: 13 Major Questions From The Trailer

2. Are The Snakes And The Greyjoys A Team Now?

There are a few rules of Westeros you should always follow if you want to stay alive. First, never listen to anything Littlefinger says. Second, always listen to what Ser Davos says. And third, never get anywhere near Ellsaria Sand, particularly when she's feeling horny.

Seduction by a Sand Snake is usually a quick journey to death, which makes the sight of Ellaria and Yara Greyjoy getting cosy rather ominous for the Iron Born. Or could it finally mean that Ellaria has actually forged an allegiance that she cares enough about not to kill the one she seduces?

The alliance of the Snakes and Cersei's foes makes sense in political terms, but you'd probably have expected them to be a wildcard, operating alone and killing off targets in stealth mode. Or you might have expected Dorne to be ignored entirely, given how comically it was all tied up last season.

But at least it might mean we'll get to see some interesting stuff from the Snakes finally.
