Games Of Thrones Season 7: 13 Major Questions From The Trailer

1. How Can The Lannisters Possibly Win?

As the trailer so eloquently states, the Lannisters are f*cked. They have enemies all around them - with some of them currently teaming up - and while Cersei's obstinance is admirable (and not at all surprising), there is literally no hope for the Lannisters with a weakened army, no financial support from Tyrells and the very real chance of being cut off from their own port.

So how the hell can they ever hope to win? Usually in this position, the villains would be the biggest obstacle, but the Lannisters are uncharacteristically lame. Something has to give.

The answer lies in alliances, which are hinted at a little in the trailer (in the throne room scene that seems to suggest Cersei welcomes a potential ally into her company). Could it be that she aligns with Euron Greyjoy? He's about the only potential ally she has left (barring a left-field partnership with the Night's King), so it wouldn't be all that surprising, but even then, Dany's forces are almost cartoonishly huge, and unless she ends up losing loads of them by accident, the numbers still don't favour the Lannisters.

So, in short, it looks suspiciously like these are the last days of the House Of Lannister.
