13. Wouldn't This Map Have Been Useful Before Now?
Considering the wars we've already seen ravaging Westeros - most of which have directly involved the Lannister family in some way - wouldn't the revelation that they have a giant map of their kingdom that could be used for war room planning have been pretty useful before now?
Or are we supposed to believe that they had this map specially commissioned when Cersei took over? Strange priorities.
Also people who have big, complex maps in Westeros don't often last very long. It seems they spend way too much time making them, and too little time preparing for what actually happens on the real world versions of them.
It is interesting to see her standing at The Neck facing North though - is this symbolic confirmation that she's most concerned about her enemies up there?
