Games Of Thrones Season 7: 13 Major Questions From The Trailer

6. Is Littlefinger Turning Sansa?

Game Of Thrones Sansa Littlefinger
HBO

We already saw Littlefinger working on Sansa's fragile loyalties in season 6, and it seems like the great agitator of Westeros is back to his usual tricks, pouring honey in here ears and going full Iago this time out.

Though she doesn't seem to react to his challenge about the deaths of her father and brothers, there's something in her demeanour that suggests she might just be turning towards his thinking. That would be an interestingly progression of her arc, considering she has already aligned herself with enemies (foolishly and forcibly) in the past.

There's a little hint that Jon finds out about the scheming (since he's seen beating Littlefinger up), but might it come too late?

It's interesting that Littlefinger refers to Sansa's brothers and father being dead (he presumably believes Bran is dead), because it seemingly discounts Jon as a brother. Could this mean that Littlefinger knows that Jon isn't a real brother? Or is his ignorance more a symbolic attempt to undermine the legitimacy of his claim as the true King In The North?

This all seems to be heading towards the threat of insurrection from Sansa, which would be a hell of a way to twist the narrative.
