Good Omens Teaser Trailer: 10 Things You Might've Missed

9. The Satanist Nuns

Good Omens
Prime Video

The Chattering Order of St. Beryl, a sect of Satanist Nuns in the book that help the Apocalypse come about (or at least try very hard to) appear a number of times throughout the trailer.

The shape of their veils and the look of their habits are mostly nun-like, but with a sinister shape more reminiscent of the hoods on Klan members. There's also a scene showing them standing in a room with an upside-down cross and a statue surrounded by a snake, likely in the Manor they were based in at the time of their mission.

Part of the trailer shows the day of the fire where they lost most of their records, including that of the eventually misplaced Anti-Christ.

Despite looking remarkably evil, the nuns are one of the greatest sources of comedy in the book, with the irony of their seemingly sweet demeanour, their hidden dark agendas, and their general incompetence in trying to accomplish those agendas.

Nothing but excitement for the chattering nuns playing a prominent role in the series.
