Gotham: 10 Reasons The Court Of Owls Will Enhance The Show

1. Enter Mr. Freeze

As I mentioned here, Victor Fries is set to make his debut in Gotham soon and that is very cool. I make no promises that that will be the last ice-related pun you read. With the Court swooping through Gotham, the writers can additionally introduce another Batman villain with organic ties to the wider Court of Owls story-line. In the rebooted origins for Mr. Freeze, Victors genius level intellect is utilized by the Court of Owls, who use a compound he created to revive their Talons. Gordon, investigating the Court before the eventual Night of the Owls, will be lead to Freeze. The updated origin for Mr. Freeze is even more chilling and the writers of Gotham would be able to incorporate it directly into the overarching Court of Owls story-line. The new Victor Fries (who has a name like a post-match celebratory McDonald's meal) was a scientist at Wayne Laboratories, who was fired by Bruce Wayne (in Gotham, it can be Thomas Wayne), who decommissioned his research on bio-cryonics. This enraged Victor, who was trying to revive the cyrogenically frozen Nora, a woman with an incurable heart condition. In a crazy twist, Nora is actually a stranger to Victor, a woman frozen since 1943, however he develops an obsession with her. Because the cold woman melted his cold heart (last time, I promise), Victor created a compound that gains the attention of the Court of Owls. In Gotham, Gordon could apprehend Freeze, stopping him from kidnapping the human popsicle and gaining further information about the Court. There you go, Gotham. I just plotted out an major story-line for you. You're welcome. What do you think the Court of Owls means for Gotham? Let me know below!
