Gotham might get labelled for being a decidedly more silly take on the Dark Knight's world, but one thing that cannot be denied is that it's been known to up the ante when the occasion calls for it.
In Pyg's case, the occasion most definitely calls for it.
You only have to watch the preview to get a sense for the upcoming episode, and the premise - while something of a departure from the comics themselves - is enough to make your skin crawl.
"Gordon and Bullock are hot on a serial killer who has been assassinating cops and dressing his victims in the severed heads of pigs as his signature mark. Meanwhile, Sofia tries to win over Penguin, and Thompkins, Nygma and Grundy find themselves an unlikely home at Cherry's place."
While zombifying people seems to be a step too far for Gotham's writers, we do know that Pyg will be targeting the police and outfitting them with discarded pig heads, which is just as disgusting if we're being honest.
It looks like Gordon will be caught up in his clutches at some point too, so here's hoping Harv's hot on the trail to save the day.
