Gotham: 10 Things You Need To Know About Professor Pyg

1. He's Spawned Copycat Killers

Seeing as how Gotham has been a massive fan of switching up the norms of the lore for TV, it's important to bear in mind that the 'Pyg book' - so to speak - might not end with Lazlo.

We've already seen two incarnations of the Scarecrow now, and, while Gotham is yet to play up the 'father-son' dynamic for any of its other villains (the book's still out regarding Jerome), it could be that they're looking to do something similar with Pyg.

For once, the move isn't without precedent. In the comics, a copycat killer calling himself Son of Pyg actually turns up to fight the Bat-family. While a familial relation isn't explicitly hinted at, could it be the case that Gotham will see a wave of Pyg-inspired murders once the credits roll?

In any case, Professor Pyg will make for a fantastic addition to the TV show, even if he lacks the history so many other Bat-rogues are able to boast.
