1. Jeremiah Reveals His True Nature (Season 4, Episode 20 - 'The Old Corpse')
Everything about this scene was phenomenal. This episode contained so many surprises and plot twists - all of which were revealed with such perfect timing. The tension was palpable.
It was a needed relief for Gotham fans to see the recently deceased Jerome Valeska still causing chaos from beyond the dead… or so they thought. Little did we know that this was all the work of his seemingly 'good' brother, Jeremiah .
In the scene between Jeremiah and Bruce Wayne, you can tell something is off - this isn't the meek Jeremiah we've been introduced to. The moment 'Jerome' is in fact revealed to be Jeremiah is such a revelation - it was executed perfectly, and the two personalities were truly distinct. Jerome was a true anarchist, but Jeremiah was calm and calculated - he actually believed he was sane.
The true stand-out shot in this scene was when Jeremiah wiped the blood off his face only to reveal the iconic Joker pale skin hiding under his fake complexion. Gotham didn't get better than this - this was crazy in the best way.
