Gotham: 15 Craziest Moments
11. The Ventriloquist/Scarface Death Scene (Season 5, Episode 8 - 'Nothing's Shocking')
Considering Penguin and Riddler were such high profile villains in Gotham, you couldn't be blamed for wondering how they found themselves under threat from a puppet - but that's exactly what happened in this scene.
The Ventriloquist (Andrew Sellon) believed he was under the control of his puppet, Scarface who was taunting him to kill Penguin and Riddler - just another normal day in Gotham. It was as crazy as it sounds but that's why the scene made this list.
As odd as a killer puppet may sound, Scarface did look pretty terrifying - especially peering through those blinds. You definitely wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of him as Penguin and Riddler unfortunately did. Thankfully, Penguin saved the day by shooting Scarface in the head thus freeing The Ventriloquist from his influence - because of course, that makes perfect sense.
One of the best elements of this scene was the great chemistry between Penguin and Riddler. Their friendship had been well established by this point in the show but it was always a treat when the two characters found themselves drawn back together.
