Gotham: FOX Delves Into Batman's Origins With New TV Series

Over the course of Batman on screen, the rogues gallery of villains has become as essential as characters as the Dark Knight himself and this fall FOX is delving into their origins with new TV series Gotham. For generations audiences have come to know the Riddler, Catwoman and the Penguin, but now this latest entry in the Batman franchise will delve into their pasts, bringing their backstories to life. Featuring a strong cast that includes Jada Pinkett Smith (Madagascar, The Maxtrix Sequels), Ben McKenzie (The O.C) and Donal Logue (Grounded For Life, Sons Of Anarchy), Gotham is a twist on the typical cop drama; centring on the story of Police Officer (and future Commissioner) Jim Gordon (McKenzie) and the young villains he encounters.
