Gotham Season 3: 5 Ups And 5 Downs From 'Anything For You'
1. Detecting A Hint Of Detection
For what is essentially a cop show set in a city where people will only murder you if they have a gimmick, there never does seem to be all that much detective work going on. Sure, this is not your stock-standard police procedural and yes, Gordon, Harvey and Barnes have proven they are great at their jobs but it was this episode where Bruce showed his slowly developing into The World's Greatest Detective.
Before I discuss Bruce's veritable skills of deduction, I want to give a shout out to Nygma, who figured out that Butch was the leader of the makeshift Red Hood's by taking into account the positioning of their felled bodies and how the suits found at the scene were all made by Butch's tailor.
Back to Bruce, the way in which he showed his attentiveness was brilliant; after stating that 'it's important to have a mission' to Gordon, he states how he notices the lipstick on the coffee mug on Gordon's table. Beginning with a keen eye, Batman is slowly adding to his repertoire.
