5. No Fish

I'm going to keep this like my daughter (short and sweet), but Jada Pinkett Smith's Fish Mooney not appearing the last two episodes has been a blessing.

I'll give her props for her last exchange with Penguin because it was brilliant and redeemed character in a way: "Because you're mine. You were my umbrella boy, remember? You rubbed my feet when they were tired. And now look at you, the terror of Gotham. Everything I've done in my life, possibly the best thing was turning Oswald Cobblepot into... the Penguin. I couldn't destroy that."

But hopefully Fish will keep the mercury-levels down and allow Gotham to continue the stellar run the last two episodes have provided. Her lack of presence has already made the show feel fresh.
