Gotham Season 5: 4 Major Questions After 'Penguin, Our Hero'

Selina wasn't the only one craving revenge in Penguin, Our Hero, as Barbara Keane had hopes of exterminating Oswald. The night club owner saved Gordon's life in the previous episode, and in return, asked the GCPD captain for his help in killing Penguin.

While Gordon was never really going to comply, he ended up putting his foot in it this week as, after Haven was taken over by biker thugs, Bullock went in search of Barbara - at Gordon's request. Of course, once Babs learned of Penguin's presence at the sanctuary, she agreed to help, meaning that Gordon had led her right to her intended victim.

Barbara almost had her devilish wish come true as, after setting her sights on Oswald, she held a gun to his head. Before she could enact her vengeful plan, however, Haven was blown to smithereens.

Now that the remaining residents of Gotham will be living in fear, will Barbara continue down her treacherous path, or will she let bygones be bygones so that she can help save the city? This is a tough one. Barbara isn't one to let a petty thing like the end of civilisation get in her way, but there's clearly still some chemistry between her and Gordon, so perhaps she'll help her former fiancé to save the city.
