3. The Dynamic Between Gordon & Oswald

While there have been plenty of rivalries throughout Gotham's five-year run, few have been as enjoyable as Gordon and Penguin's. Looking back at the pair's earlier scenes together you can really see how much growth and development these two iconic characters have experienced - all of which is paying off brilliantly in these final episodes.

With Penguin looking out for number one, his allies desert him and head for Gordon's haven - something which the former mayor sees as an act of betrayal. His bitterness over the city's love for Gordon causes more havoc, and when the two former friends find themselves imprisoned together, they must overcome their differences and fight alongside one another. Conflict galore

We know that at some point in the future, the two foes will be joining forces to fight for Gotham, and the beginning of this unusual alliance could certainly be seen during this episode. Penguin and Gordon are an unlikely team, but perhaps thats what makes them so thrilling to watch.
