4. Will Gordon Help Barbara Kill Penguin?
After escaping Mother's rage in the hotel, Gordon and Bullock were mere inches away from a getaway vehicle, when the Soothsayers showed up once more. When it looked like our heroes were toast, good ole' Barbara Keane arrived, just in the nick of time, murdering every bad guy in her way, ensuring her former fiancé's safety.
It was an all-round enjoyable moment - one that highlighted just how great the Barbara character still is if utilised properly. Her subsequent request made things a lot more interesting, when she told Gordon that, in return for saving him, she would like him to help her exact revenge on Oswald for what he did to Tabitha.
Gordon and Penguin have had their feuds in the past, and the law man has come close to killing the former mayor of the city on several occasions before but, with Gotham's final hours in sight, could Gordon embrace his darker side once more and put The Penguin down? It's unlikely, given that the flash-forward seen in last week's premiere episode demonstrates Gordon teaming up with his former foe, but stranger things have happened in this odd universe.
