3. Have We Seen The Last Of Ivy?
While much of Trespassers focused on Gordon's rescue operation, the remainder centred around Bruce's quest to discover the mysterious witch who allegedly had the ability to heal Selina's injuries. One question from last week that the Fox series did give us an answer to was the identity of this witch, as it turned out that she was none other than Ivy Pepper, who's evolution into the infamous Poison Ivy is more or less complete.
Gotham's original takes on classic Batman characters have always been controversial, but the Fox series' iteration of Poison Ivy is perhaps the most controversial of them all.
It's true that the Batman-prequel series has taken a unique track with the character, having three different actresses play Ivy across the five seasons of the show, but if Trespassers proved anything, it's that it was all worth it. Peyton List is absolutely wonderful as the plant-loving villainess, and here's hoping we see a lot more of her.
In saying that, however, there is a possibility that this could be the last we see of Ivy. In her final scenes in this episode, she practically bid adieu to Bruce, and moved on to greener pastures (pun intended). Whether or not she'll return remains to be seen, but it would be great if she popped up in the finale, which will no doubt feature a lot of renowned Batman characters.
