Gotham Season 5 Premiere: 7 Major Questions We Have After Year Zero

Much of Year Zero centred around Jim Gordon's disappointment in the government, and how it had left him and the others to fend for themselves. Not only were the detectives isolated, however, but they were also running out of supplies.

Young Bruce Wayne temporarily sorted the supply shortage for the GCPD captain, but it doesn't change the fact that the government still won't send in support. However, the final few moments of the premiere episode saw Gordon receive a radio message from someone across the river, who claimed to be a friend offering their support.

While Gordon absolutely needs help, it's hard not to wonder about the identity of this mysterious samaritan. In a show such as Gotham, unknown identities are rarely a good thing, and what with all the corruption tied to this destructive city, it's possible that the supposed ally could be dangerous.
