Gotham Season 5 Premiere: 7 Major Questions We Have After Year Zero

While there were plenty of casualties in the previous season's finale, the biggest upset came when viewers learned that Selina Kyle had been paralysed from the waist down - a diagnosis that came after Jeremiah shot her in order to antagonise Bruce. Nice guy, eh?

We're all aware of how much Selina loves to climb buildings and jump across rooftops, so this diagnosis is incredibly upsetting - both for us and for the character. Bruce feels responsible, and his guilt isn't eased by Selina, who fully confirms that the incident was his fault. As a result, Bruce feels inclined to do all that he can to help his former love, and his curiosity is piqued when the nearby nurse suggests that Selina needs help from someone named The Witch.

There's very little information given about this witch, so it's hard to speculate about who she might be, but given that this character was name-dropped a few times throughout Year Zero, it's likely that she'll be of importance moving forward.
