Just because actor Brett Dalton was a Marvel man, doesn't mean he has to stay that way. Dalton starred as Grant Ward on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for six seasons, but that series is set to come to an end.
Currently, Dalton is unattached to any other ongoing series, which makes him a free agent. Who is to say the actor couldn't be the latest of Marvel's talent to migrate to DC, like director James Gunn?
Dalton's time on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. illustrated a natural flair for action and playing larger than life genre characters. Lest we forget, Grant Ward also shared a traumatic childhood, so he would be a natural to channel the haunted man that Bruce Wayne would become in Gotham's future.
